50+ Things to Do at Home When You’re Bored

Mariah French Mental Health 50 Comments

This list will piggyback off of the article we posted last week, How to Get Motivated When the Couch is Your Home. If you haven’t read that yet, go read it!

We know we’re not the only ones working from home and/or not going out as much. As a stay at home mom, I am used to spending most of my time at our house, but I’m not used to my husband being home or nannying other kids during the day in my home. Needless to say, my schedule has changed a lot.

Although there is more going on inside, sometimes it’s hard for me to find meaningful tasks to fill up my day. Comment below if you feel the same!

Below is a list of 50+ activities I’ve compiled to help you (and myself) be more productive at home.

As you read through this list, make a note for which ones interest you or which ones would be beneficial to you. Now is the time to get motivated, start projects, and be productive!

  2. Great list! The biggest thing that I do while at home is to make myself a list each day of what I want to accomplish. Otherwise, I get distracted and get nothing done.

  3. Great ideas! I started organizing my digital files and now a week later still doing it. I thought it would take a few hours. I don’t need to worry about getting bored for a few more days. I have 20 years of photos labeling and organizing and storing digitally now. lol

  7. With school finishing up for my kiddos, we are going to need a list like this pretty soon. For the past two months we’ve been focused on finishing the school year, but not that it’s over I think we are going to have a lot of free time on our hands and nothing to do. This list should give us some inspiration to get us through the next few months.
